Marketing and Recruitment Assistant

JOB SUMMARY 

Under the direction of the Coordinator, Admissions and Marketing, the Marketing and Recruiting Assistant assists with the general office operations within the Office of Admissions; to arrange and participate in special recruiting events on and off campus; and oversee various MTSA campus-wide events. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Bachelor's degree in business, communication, education, or other appropriate discipline, preferred. 

3 to 4 years of relevant clerical and administrative experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enrollment/admissions software (NursingCAS, CAMS, Oracle, Slate, Campus Café, etc.). 

Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.  

Efficient typing and data-capturing abilities. 

Excellent communication and customer relations skills. 

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

Multi-tasking and job-role flexibility.

Marketing and Recruiting 

Collaborate with the Coordinator, Admissions and Marketing on the following: 

  • Help develop and implement campus-based and program-specific marketing and recruitment strategies. 

  • Manage, collaborate, and work with internal (e.g., Admissions) and external partners to ensure flawless execution of marketing plans.  

  • Ensure all brand executions are adhering to brand guidelines.  

  • Assist with coordinating content for the institution’s periodical magazine (Airways) and external publications. 

  • Perform updates for all external web pages: MTSA.edu, neuraxiom.com, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.  

  • Assist with publishing and coordinating social media content. 

  • Collaborate with the Coordinator, Admissions and Marketing, on developing and implementing campus-based and program-specific marketing and recruitment strategies. 

  • Create and maintain partnerships with community organizations, churches, schools, universities, school districts, and social and human service organizations to engage in various events. 

  • Attending recruitment fairs, conferences, and various exhibitions. 

  • Assist with the admissions/onboarding process for prospective students. 

  • Assist with executing a results-driven social media strategy. Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms. Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content. 

  • Provide input on how to improve processes based on feedback. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Event Planning and Missions Coordination 

  • Plan and implement from start to finish special events scheduled throughout the year. 

  • Oversee and direct logistics of event planning, implementation, and follow-up.  

  • Assist the Coordinator, Admissions and Marketing with planning and carrying out events, including but not limited to college fairs, conference visits, and other such opportunities; attend events as needed and oversee assigned special events; travel as needed to fill-in for other Admissions staff or to represent MTSA. 

  • Oversee logistics and manage all clerical data related to missions. 

  • Collect and maintain all mission relevant documentation.
