Job Summary
Under the direction of the VP for Advancement & Alumni, responsible for assistance in Alumni, Advancement, Special events, Bloomerang accounting software, student recruitment and other areas as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Advancement/Alumni preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to work with individuals in a variety of circumstances
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Accounting software
- Event management and coordinator experience
- Ability to represent MTSA in a professional manner
Responsibilities
- Manages coding, receipting and posting of all cash, checks, credit card charges, bequests, gifts-in-kind, pledges and payroll deductions in Bloomerang accounting software
- Prepares and delivers bank deposits to Admissions Coordinator, along with maintaining records of all gifts, acknowledgements and donor correspondence for major gifts, annual giving memberships, and all other gifts in a timely manner
- Posts, tracks and updates pledge commitments and reminders on a monthly basis
- Prepares accurate and timely financial reports to the VP for Finance and CPA as needed
- Assists in coordinating Bloomerang accounting software data conversion, enters new student data/records into Bloomerang, in addition to maintaining and updating Bloomerang database and records on all students, donors and friends of MTSA
- Coordinates Airways newsletter, routine and other school mailings as assigned
- Performs critical tasks for successful annual events including Golf Tournament, Mission & Awards Gala, Sporting Clay Tournament and other events as assigned
- Takes minutes, attendance, related meeting preparation, and follow up regarding committee matters and projects as recording secretary for Golf Classic Committee, Sporting Clay Committee and Mission & Awards Gala Committee.
- Supports the Alumni Committee and the Institutional Advancement Committee with taking minutes and attendance, Bylaw updates, nomination process duties, and related preparation and follow up of committee matters and projects, including Founder’s Fund
- Submits prior approved PDIS applications and attendance records to AANA for CRNA continued education credits for Airways published scholarly projects
- Maintains and updates alumni information in CAMS database
- Coordinates arrangements and tracks attendance for regional alumni dinners
- Schedules meetings and appointments with staff, board, committee members and community leaders as needed
- Fulfills other duties as assigned for on-going major gift and annual fund campaigns and solicitation
- Assists with special school projects as assigned by Vice President for Advancement & Alumni
